This was an old picture I found of Chichenitza. When I took the picture I wanted to capture the beauty of this wonder of the world. It is amazing to see how many beautiful things there is in this world and many are undescribleable. In my visit to Chichenitza I learned about the stories of Mayan. They were very brilliant beings, they work a lot with the stars and math. While there we asked about the prediction of 2012 to the Mayan who was giving us the story, he explained to us how it was all a misunderstanding. He said that people want to make it seem as if that’s what it means but the real definition of the whole 2012 prediction had to do with the Mayans way of life. It just means that in 2012, if the Mayans still exsisted, they would have had to make another pyrimad on top of what is now Chichenitza.
